Does my pool need to be drained after the rain?

After rains, pool water can be affected. Conditions such as flooding, imbalance concentration of chemicals, low pH, growth of algae and bacteria, or debris and leaves cause blockage in pool equipment. To handle the polluting conditions after rain, cleaning and draining the water filter is essential to avoid undue consequences for the health of swimmers. 

First, collect trash and leaves left in the water. Turn off any machine to avoid causing fire and explosion. Then reduce the water and use a water test kit to assess the water condition. Finally, treat the water with specialized chemicals.
