To have a clean and safe swimming pool for use is not only about pumping water into the lake but also about paying attention to the number of chemicals and how to add them to keep the water away from algae, debris, insects, and bacteria that are harmful to your health.

Pool chemicals are specialized into different types, serving different concerns. Please refer to the following table of recommended chemical levels for your pool.

Always remember, water needs to be filtered before testing. In case the filter pump is turned off, simply switch on the recirculation for a few minutes of warm-up. Then ‌use the water testing kit.

To apply chemicals properly, do not pour chemicals directly into the pool. Always mix the chemical into the water in a bucket (for liquid chemicals) or in a floating device and a chemical filler (for chemical tablets). Use specialized and reputable chemicals for high efficiency. Avoid the use of foreign chemicals, poor quality, and unknown origins as they can easily be harmful to the health of swimmers and reduce the lifespan of equipment in the pool.
