A steam room/sauna is a great wellness device and a handy home spa option. For convenience, steam rooms/saunas often have simple designs and require little maintenance, making cleaning and maintenance work easier.

However, the hygiene of the sauna/sauna is very important. Follow our recommended steps below to properly clean your steam/sauna room:

  1. Regularly clean and wipe off the room
  2. Place towels on top of the wooden tape inside the sauna to sit on. This method absorbs sweat into the towel, preventing sweat from penetrating into the wood, and causing damage to the material.
  3. Use a cleaning brush and wash with water through all areas inside the sauna that come into contact with human skin. It is a simple, convenient way to maintain and prevent fading of wood in sauna equipment.
  4. Use water with a mild detergent to wash away any dirt inside the sauna’s bench and modal.
  5. Every time you finish using the sauna equipment, open the door to the sauna room, which helps the air in the room to ventilate and dry up. This method is to prevent the spread of mold and wetness on wood.
  6. Remember to constantly clean or use a vacuum cleaner to remove dirt and hair that often get stuck in the corner of the room, under the wooden floor.

Careful and proper cleaning prolongs the life of the equipment and machinery and keeps the room looking new for many years. If you find cleaning your steam/sauna room to be a nuisance task, consider contacting us via hotline or booking our steam/sauna cleaning service through our website.
